Planning to Travel as China is Slowly Opening, My First Mani-Pedi, Student Orchestral Concert, and Coharing Hash 1984
China has finally relaxed many of its covid restrictions. Testing is still available but 24-hour codes are no longer required to enter businesses, go to parks, or ride public transit. At school we are only required to get tested once a week and most places accept a 72-hour code. Domestic travel is no longer restricted and people are much more free to move around without having to quarantine on their return. As such I am making plans to go skiing up north. I signed up with a tour group and hope that the trip has enough registrants to go. I have not booked my flight yet but will book this week. I am working on a list of things that I want to see and places I want to go.
I got my first ever manicure and pedicure this week. It was exquisite. I would go again just for the massage chair. I plan to make a regular thing of this form of pampering.
This week included some cool events at the school, including a side walk chalk event for which I chaperoned. After work on Friday there was a student orchestral concert. I am always impressed by these kids. Afterward I joined the high school principal and the art history teacher to treat the music teacher to congratulatory drinks for a job well done.
On Saturday I co-hared Hash #1984. My co-hares laid the walkers trail with multiple shot stops. I laid the runners trail and hid tiny drink bottles at various locations. After laying the trail I sat at the beer stop waiting for everyone to arrive. Even though it was a street run, the club really seemed to enjoy themselves. Afterward we got some Tacos at Cactus. I drank copious amounts of alcohol since Friday, but didn't drink all week so at least I have managed to cut back. Now I just need to stop buying cigarettes.

Sidewalk chalk event looks awesome! Not as cool as your sparkles though.. Hope you are doing well and it sounds like the trail you laid went really well! I am happy for you!!!
