An American Expat in China

 Work this year is fucking stressful.  Every day I arrive at work at 7:05 to eat breakfast, brush my teeth, and use the bathroom before my first class starts at 8. I start actually working at 7:45 and have not been getting out of work till about 5:30 or 6:30 in the evening.  There are some exceptions.  Fridays I usually finish at 3:30 and leave right away. But every other day I am busy for almost 10 hours. This is partially because this year I have four classes to teach while last two years I only had three. While I still only have 46 students I still have less time to grade and plan since I teach four classes.  I am coplanning this year which js new because now there is another honors bio teacher besides me.  I have two biweekly minute advisories that eat up 20 minutes 4 duty assignments that waste more of my precious time and energy.  Additionally on Tuesdays I have student hours, Wednesdays I advise the bio club, and Thursdays there are meetings....

As you saw from my last two posts my summer was interesting and filled with adventure.   Before my my summer vacation officially ended on August 12 I took a relaxing trip to Bangkok from August 6-9.     I stayed in The Quarter Phrong Phong Hotel. It was a nice place to stay.  It was across the street from a great dispensary/lounge and there were plenty of bars and restaurants around.  They even offered a shuttle to the mall.   I arrived in the afternoon and my first place was High Society Cannabis Club which was right across the street from my hotel.  I had originally only planned to stay a short while but got stuck there when it started to downpour so I ended up spending a few hours there smoking, munching, listening to music, and just chilling.  The next morning I woke up naturally, had breakfast at the hotel, and went for a run to and around Benchakitti Park.   After the run I got a Kiwi soda.   I spent the re...
