To anyone still supporting Trump

It has been 100 days since Trump took office.  How do you feel about your decision?

Trump said he would end the war in Ukraine on day one.  The war still rages on.

Trump said egg prices would go down.  They are up roughly 60% due to an avian influenza outbreak.  The layoff of health agency staff and department of agriculture staff has contributed substantially to the mishandling of this virus.  Just as he mishandled the covid 19 pandemic, he and his administration are fumbling again.

He said grocery prices would go down.  They are higher than ever.  Why? Trump is deporting the immigrants that pick your crops and engaging in a trade war that is increasing the prices of all consumer goods.  This has caused the stock market to plummet and stagnate.  He has set our country up for a recession. 

He said he would only deport criminal immigrants who are here illegally.  Three US citizens aged 2, 4, and 7 have been deported.  One of which, the 4 year old, was undergoing lifesaving treatment for stage 4 cancer.  Immigrants with protected status who are here illegally have been deported.  Due process, a constitutional right to a people, has been pushed aside.  He has defied a federal court to prevent the deportation of a plane full of people and 9-0 supreme court order to return one of them.  He has thus defied the systems of checks and balances that ensure our democracy remains a democracy.  

He has suppressed protests on university campuses and the freedom of the press.  Once again this shows a complete disregard for the constitution. 

His pal Elon Musk at DOGE has fired thousands of federal workers.  

There have been a record number of plane crashes.

Trump has gotten rid of a the seed vault that ensures our food security.

His defense secretary Pete Hegseth has leaked highly sensitive and secret war plans on signal. 

His health and human services secretary RFKJr. has allowed for a measles outbreak in Texas and has alienated people with autism.

His administration has defunded the department of education meaning that children with disabilities and special learning needs no longer have access to support. 

He has done so much damage in the last 100 days that his approval ratings are lower than any other president in history. 

Do you regret your choice yet? Was it worth it to "own the libs" and "stop woke and cancel culture"?

You voted for a man who said he would be a dictator on day one.  He has been a dictator since day one.  You voted for a felon who continues to show no regard for the rule of law, court orders, or the constitution.  You voted for a failed business man thinking it would fix the economy.  You voted for a racist, sexist, xenophobe who appealed to your racist, sexist, xenophobia.  

How much more harm must he do for you to realize you made a mistake? It has already started impacting you.  If you cannot see that then you have fallen for the biggest grift in US presidential history.  If you are still convinced that he is good for the country, good for your wallet, good for christianity then you do not support democracy.  You support Trump, and if nothing he has done so far has shaken your support for him, then nothing will.  Things will not get better over the next 4 years.  They will get far worse.  There may be nothing we can do about it now.  If he gets his way the midterm elections will be rigged in his favor.  If he gets his way he will defy the constitution and run again in 2028.  If he gets his way this country won't be a constitutional democracy anymore.  We warned you.
